Clusia Rosea has stiff leathery leaves in dark green or olive that can grow to about 7″ long. The Clusia Rosea also known as the autograph tree because the leaves are tough enough to cave your name on. this plant also blooms pink or white flowers during the summer making it a beautiful plant for the home.
How to care for your Clusia rosea
Light & Temperatures
Clusia rosea originates from the Caribbean. and prefers lots of light and do very well in tropical climates and when situated in full sun, this is why they are well suited as an indoor plant. They will tolerate medium shade when situated indoors.
An average temperature between 16-29°C is ideal but the warmer the better. Clusia rosea will not tolerate temperatures that fall below 10°C/
Watering
Water regularly. Although these plants can tolerate periods of drought keep the soil moist at all times and water well. Do not allow to stand in water
Humidity Levels
As a plant that likes tropical conditions Clusia rosea prefer high humidity levels. Placing your plant on a watered gravel filled tray will help increase humidity, you can also spray your plant with a mister regulary.

Liquid Fertiliser. Feed April-Sep
General Care
We recommend you trim once a year in spring to maintain the desired shape and size. These are a fast growing plant.
Height & Growth
Outdoors they can grow into tall trees reaching 20ft / 6metres in height. Indoors you can keep them to a sizer between 50 – 100cm.
