Strelitzia Nicolai, also known as the White Bird of Paradise, Crane Plant or Wild banana. It is a wonderful plant for adding that bold tropical feel. Its big and long glossy leaves resemble that of the Musa family of plants but this one does not produce fruit. Hardier than the Bird of Paradise this “White Bird of Paradise” will do well indoors with moderate to high sunlight. It will cope well with infrequent watering too. A good plant to have if I were a student again!
