  • Philodendron Pedatum (also known as Oak Leaf Philodendron). This specimen is a climber and will produce more impressive leaves as it matures and climbs. The climbing Philodendrons produce aerial roots from the stems.
  • Strelitzia Nicolai, also known as the White Bird of Paradise, Crane Plant or Wild banana. It is a wonderful plant for adding that bold tropical feel. Its big and long glossy leaves resemble that of the Musa family of plants but this one does not produce fruit. Hardier than the Bird of Paradise this “White Bird of Paradise” will do well indoors with moderate to high sunlight. It will cope well with infrequent watering too. A good plant to have if I were a student again!
  • We don't usually do this but, for a change we're adding this rare Philodendron to our list. The Philodendron Squamiferum is a magnificent variety in the genus Araceae. It is a climber, originating in French Guiana, Suriname, and northern Brazil where it scales large trees. The distinctive "furry" stems set this variety apart from its friend the Pedatum - similar in appearance, however much more common. If you are a bit of a Philodendron "nut", then this is for you. No collection is complete without this fantastic beauty. We have paired this with the highest quality Lechuza LS products because, well, it deserves it. Purchase this in a grow pot only in the Mosspole and column plant section.
