  • Philodendron Brasil Hanger Pot 15cm. This variety from the Philodendron Scandens family is known as the Brazil. This hanging plant has very distinctive lime green stripe in the center of its glossy heart shape leaves creating a stunning feature to any home or office. The Brazil will tolerate low light situations and is easy to care for.

  • Strelitzia Nicolai, also known as the White Bird of Paradise, Crane Plant or Wild banana. It is a wonderful plant for adding that bold tropical feel. Its big and long glossy leaves resemble that of the Musa family of plants but this one does not produce fruit. Hardier than the Bird of Paradise this "White Bird of Paradise" will do well indoors with moderate to high sunlight. It will cope well with infrequent watering too. A good plant to have if I were a student again!

  • Strelitzia Reginae, the crane flower or bird of paradise, is a species of flowering plant indigenous to South Africa. An evergreen perennial, it is widely cultivated for its dramatic flowers. The Strelitzia is a popular houseplant and will be supplied in flower. Between 1.2 and 1.3 meters tall
  • Araucaria Heterophylla also known as the Monkey Puzzle Christmas tree and the Norfolk Island Pine. The Araucaria has very distinctive fan-like branches of vibrant green needles arranged in neat and tidy tiers. This specimen needs to be in a bright positions, so would be best placed near a window. Low light conditions will cause the needles to drop.  
  • The Araucaria Cunninghamii also known as the hoop pine  is part of the Monkey puzzle family. The Araucaria is a interesting plant and originates from Australia and New guinea. These are wonderful slow growing  plants ideally suited to bonsai which form natural 'hoop' trunks and Awl-shaped leaf that weeps down.
  • The Croton Petra indoor houseplants also known as Josephs coat is one of the more colourful indoor tropical plants. The Croton Petra is hard not to notice with its bushy upright stance and vividly coloured foliage. The Croton houseplant has leaves splashed with green; orange and red with the veins often yellow, depending on the variety. The Croton Petra should be kept in warm temperatures and kept out of draughts. Water moderately through the winter and allow to dry out between watering.
  • The Philodendron Xanadu, is a large compact easy to grow plant. Their shiny green leathery leaf has 15-20 distinct lobes. The Xanadu can get to a height of 60-120cm. and a width of 90-150cm in ideal conditions. The leaves of this exotic plant can be as large as 30-40cm long and 20-35cm wide. The Xanadu is an upright plant not climber or vine like many other Philodendrons.
  • The Aspidistra plant or (Cast Iron Plant) is an old-fashioned, tough, leathery foliage house plant. It is an ideal houseplant for cooler areas of your house Aspidistra Elatior is native to China and Japan, and belongs to the lily family. The Aspidistra Elatior is not a fast grower at the best of times so if you want a fast growing plant this is not for you. The Aspidistra will tolerate most light conditions except direct sun. To thrive well it needs a fair amount of water during the growing season, although it likes to dry out between watering. If you have chosen a dark area for your plant the watering needs to be less so be careful not to over water.
  • The Scindapsus Pictus hanging pot plant has olive green leaves with silver markings  a velvet feel with a good thick heart shaped leaf . These plants like well-drained soil and don't like to dry out. The Scindapsus Pictus is ideal in a conservatory where they will grow to their full  potential.     Peace Lily

    The calming delicate Peace Lily, also known as the Spathiphyllum, will brighten your room and day. The Peace Lily is one of the most air purifying plants from the Araceae family. The Lily has white sail like flowers against a deep green foliage. This is an iconic plant and easy to care for. However, you will need to remember to water it!
  • The hanging Maranta Tricolour is a spectacular and colourful trailing plant that has highly decorative velvety leaves. The Maranta is also known as the prayer plant because its leaves fold together at night. This plant is easy to maintain and will tolerate low light conditions.
  • Devils Ivy

    This hanging variation of the Epipremnum is widely known as Devils ivy. This plant is in the top 10 air purifying plants and will tolerate low light conditions. Furthermore the leaves of the Epipremnum are a lovely glossy, variegated heart shape giving a real jungle effect.

Most of the pot plants shown below are easy to look after and should be very rewarding to keep. Flowering plants like the Guzmania may only bloom for a few weeks, but even when the flower has gone the remaining foliage is quite attractive.
