These are our trading terms and you agree to them when you purchase from our website. It is worth taking a few moments to read through them because they explain how we will deal with your order. We keep them as brief as possible.
When we Process your Credit or Debit Card
When you purchase from us we will normally process your credit card within 48 hours, unless we need to contact you first about your order. If you purchase through PayPal your card is debited immediately after you complete your purchase.
Paying by Cheque
If you prefer to pay by cheque, please send us a copy of your order (by printing out the page after using the BUY NOW buttons) with details of where you would like the plants delivered. The cheque should be made payable to “Office Planters” and sent to the distribution address shown below.
Value Added Tax
The prices shown on our website are inclusive of Value Added Tax which is charged at the current rate. You will receive a VAT invoice with your goods.
Orders regardless of the number of items are charged on a UK mainland rate of £10.00
We only deliver to UK Mainland customers. This means that we are unable to supply you if your delivery address is in Ireland, on a Scottish Island, or on the Channel Islands, etc. We apologise for any disappointment that this may cause.
We reserve the right to make an extra charge for very large specimen plants, or particularly bulky orders. We will contact you (prior to accepting payment), to agree to any additional carriage charges that may be necessary. Delivery charges may apply if you use our free planting service – see below. Deliveries are normally achieved within 10 days of the receipt of your order. Please note that during times of low overnight temperatures we may delay your order until we are sure it will arrive safely.
We deliver Tuesday to Friday. We will contact you to agree to a delivery date prior to despatch, it is essential that someone is at home to receive your order but, if needed plants can be left outside or with neighbours by prior arrangement provided that you agree to be responsible for any loss.
Saturdays deliveries can be arranged subject to a £30 surcharge for this service. Please contact us if you require this service.
Free Planting Service (Delivery charges may apply – see below).
If your order for plants and containers comes to a value of £1000.00 (or more) inclusive of Value Added Tax we offer a free planting service. We will put the plants into the containers for you, complete with a self-watering system, (if these have been ordered) and topped with a topping of decorative LECA granules.
You Must telephone our office if you would like to take advantage of this service, if you place an order for more than £1000.00 worth of plants and containers and you have not told us that you want them supplied planted, plants and containers will be supplied separately.
Free Planting Service – Delivery Charges.
We offer free delivery of planted displays to addresses located in London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex only. NOTE – If you are outside of this area a delivery charge will apply based upon a pallet rate of £60 per pallet (we normally get 4 – 6 displays on a pallet).
Please do not interfere with the operation of our website or attempt to make a fraudulent transaction. If you do we will be quite upset and may report your attempted hack or fraud to the authorities. We may also seek to recover damages from you.
Changes to these Terms and Conditions
Indoor Plants Online reserves the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time by, posting a revised page on our website. The terms of our contract with you will be based upon those terms and conditions current at the time you placed your order. We have set this page so that it prints out nicely on most printers so why not print yourself a copy.
Indoor Plants Online is based in England. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. All disputes arising out of your access to this website or any transactions resulting from such use, including (without limitation) all contractual and other relationships are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the unused goods at a cost to you in the original packaging within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note. However, live plants being a perishable item cannot be returned unless damaged on delivery. If the plants do arrive damaged, you must notify us on receipt of the plant and supply images of the damage.
